Birth to Three, HOME Program
The H.O.M.E. (Hands On Meaningful Experiences) Program provides home visiting services that offer family-focused services to expectant parents and families with new babies and young children up to the age of three who reside in District 118.

School Information

The Prekindergarten Program is for qualified three, four and five year olds. The overall goal of the program is to increase a child’s potential for school success by providing positive, nurturing experiences in developing intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. A parent interview is completed by parents at the preschool screening for the purpose of obtaining socio-emotional, behavioral, environmental, medical, and stress indicators which will provide programming designed to best meet the needs of each student.    

Requirements for Enrollment

• Proof of immunizations and current school health exam
• A certified birth certificate (recommended)
• Social Security Number (recommended)
• Free developmental screening for your child or recommendation from a referring agency    


The program uses the Creative Curriculum, a developmentally appropriate program for three through five year old children which aligns with the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards. This curriculum will provide opportunities for your child to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
